We read a big~ole pile of books today. One of them was Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh. After reading it, I asked Joseph if he wanted to pretend to be a mouse and do a little painting experiment. So....
We taped a huge piece of paper to the floor and found our red, blue and yellow washable paints and got to work. |
"The yellow mouse hopped into a blue puddle. His feet mixed and stirred and stirred and mixed until..." Green! |
He did lots of foot washing in between colors. |
And because he had so much fun mixing, stirring and dancing with his feet like the mice in the book, he had to try it all over again using his hands! |
His Masterpiece. |
