Making Crayons

Today we recycled some of our old crayons (you know the broken ones, the big chunky crayons that Joseph has kind of outgrown) and made them into new crayons!

Cut or break the crayons into little pieces.

Have your little helper put the crayon pieces into a greased mini muffin pan. 

Bake in a 275 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.

They will look like this when they first come out of the oven.

Once they have cooled, pop them out of the muffin tin.

Let the coloring fun begin!
