Yesterday started off to be a very fun day. Joseph and I made peanut butter balls for Matt's work to enjoy, we did some crafts, read lots of books, etc.
Last night we had a delicious dinner. At the end of our dinner Matt made Joseph laugh so hard that he puked up A-L-L of his dinner. Fortunately our dog Asher was still hungry after eating his own dinner {he is always hungry} and he helped us clean up the mess. Yuck! After this puking episode Joseph was then given a nice long bath to get cleaned up {I really, really don't like the smell of puke}.
Matt made the mistake of answering an "out of area" phone call that happened to be a telemarketer {no surprise there} that was conducting a survey and Matt agreed to take it. Thirty minutes later {grrrrr} Matt hung up the phone and he told me that if he took the survey they would send him $5.00 ~ really, was that worth it?!
Oh, and did I mention that we are in the middle of mud season IN DECEMBER!!! With all of the rain and warmer than normal temperatures that we have been experiencing our lawn is a mess which means so are our two dogs and consequently our carpets! Ugh!
To top it off our laptop battery decided to bite the dust last night. After getting our old, ancient lap top up and running and Matt searching for a new battery for the newer laptop online he placed an order only to find out that the shipment was going to be mailed to our former address {seriously} after Matt thought that he had changed it on the order! Matt spent an hour on hold waiting to try to correct the address and after getting frustrated he hung up. I called back and waited on hold for thirty minutes myself without ever getting through. At this point it was way past our bedtime and we gave up praying that we could resolve the issue in the morning.
Today is a new day. Today will be a good, better, best kind of day and not a good, bad, worse kind of day...I just know it!
** This morning we were able to reach the company that we ordered our new laptop battery from and get the address changed before the item shipped - YAY!! **
