Ouch!!

Do you know what the worst part of being a mom to a young child is?  Holding them down while they get three (yes, three) shots at the doctors!  I am happy that Joseph's 18 month check-up proved that he is healthy and growing as he should but the appointment sure would have gone smoother had he taken his nap this afternoon.  He did really well up until his doctor needed to check in his mouth (the last thing on the doctors to do list) and then he began having a meltdown.  That meltdown continued through his shots and nearly all the way home until at last he fell asleep (which will surely mess up bedtime as it is 5:30)!  Ahhhh!
